The vision of a national radio France has been yearning for some years for a stronger Protestant and Evangelical expression in media. And also yearning for revival. It is now time to start moving. New digital radios can apply now according to the French regulator (CSA). This is an astounding chance and EVE is going to candidate. The vision is to reach the first 19 major cities with a professional christian station in 2009. 32% of the population will then be covered. Later on the other big and smaller cities of France will also be covered before 2011. The Protestant and Evangelical christians should not let themselves be considered as having a “minor” role in the country. EVE believes that they should have the ambition to get that radio started, but they are weak. Help us do that. " EVEN France needs you ! " The vision of a professional station In order to be recognised by all : regulators, announcers, radios, and of course listeners EVE wants to be professional. It's a matter of being credible. EVE will do everthing to be just that from the beginning. Christian ethics make sense if they have an impact on individuals, families, and the society. EVE will be oriented towards the needs of its listeners. We do not want to tell about how we're " good " christians. EVE wants to share a Gospel that shakes up, transforms, and models opinions and lives. EVE wants to do that in the proper way and at the proper time during it’s programs. EVE wants to come to the mass of french men and women through all that a digital radio has to bring : music, shows with appreciated hosts, journalism, information, but also witnesses of faith expressed in daily life, interjections, teaching, standing up for christian values and ethics…. EVE's team will enable that. Why will EVE be a commercial station ? The founder of EVE after a 24 year of radio experience in France arrived at the conclusion that a radio should not be “religious”. In the sense of only orientes to christians, but a real mass media. Radio should not be considered as an enrolement tool. But rather as a ways of sharing and influencing. If a listener wants to progress in his spiritual life then EVE will guide that listener towards a church. Since EVE will be professional the radio will need to grow from a “charity” into a “company” capable of putting the necessary investments in it. You can help with donations at first in order to help the vision come to life, but that can not be the only means of financing, especially in France. The existing French churches can not support the financial charge on their own as they are too weak and dispersed. We intend to finance the radio just like any other radio. That means with publicity and with sales. That is the reason that brings us to call on INVESTORS that are ready to join us for the Gospel, make the project work through time, and then get their investment back for other needs. Why do we need investors ? A professional radio has a price. Digital radio has a higher price than other ways of bradcasting. The technical norms in use in France need adaptions to multiplex. There is no way to avoid the price. The ticket for a new christian radio will be expensive. We believe only investors can help raise the necessary amount fast enough for the birth of such a christian station. But an individual can also understand the need for balance and planifications. EVE needs those kind of investors. Don't miss the " Help " (Aider) folder to see how you can help. There are conditions for investors First we need to get to know each other. Join us and we will do that as you become a member of EVE in it's " charity " status. Very soon, when the charity ceates the company, you can become an investor in the “filiale” (company status). But you must know that a French investor has no restrictions. But international investors can not have more than 20% of the capital or votes in the future company. Each cateogry of investor can help bring the needed capital or even propose a loan. Investors can decide either to stay members of the "charity” or change status and get involved in the company we intend to start. The founder of EVE believes that in order to make this kind of radio live and grow a charity has it's limits and is not equiped on the long term needed for digital radio. Your investment for God can be profitable to EVE and to you. Contact us ! EVE will not use any investment or loan before getting the licence to broadcast. The direction of the charity EVE assures all investors that their investments or loans can and will be transfered towards the company with their acknowedgement. A specialized lawyer will manage that. The ethical standards EVE will adopt the ethical standards and the management standards of the Fellowship of European Broadcasters (F.E.B.) A quality chief will survey those standards and make sure they are respected. You need that as investors and our regulator will appreciate that too. EVE also respects de Lausanne Covenant as well as the Hanau Statement for broadcast ministries. The church standards of the federations called CNEF (Conseil National des Evangeliques Français) as well as the FPF (Fédération Protestante de France) will aslo be respected. Become a member or an Investor and help EVE It only depends on you, if you want to successfully share the Gospel in France and participate in EVE's excellence. We want to reach French men and women with the Gospel. We want to shake them up and encourage them to become new “beings” in Jesus Christ. That’s the meaning of the name Eve.
